В статье приводятся данные по объему мирового рынка имплантируемых медицинских устройств и анализируются потребности отечественного рынка в различных отраслях медицины. Приводятся примеры существующих зарубежных и  российских  разработок  в  области  имплантируемых медицинских устройств. Сформулированы  перспективные  направления  развития  отечественного рынка.</p></sec><sec><title>Материал и методы</title><p>Материал и методы. Основным методом исследования являлся анализ источников информации, отражающих актуальное состояние рассматриваемой тематики за последние 10 лет.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Имплантируемые медицинские устройства применяются в практическом здравоохранении уже несколько десятилетий. На сегодняшний день имплантируемые устройства оказывают помощь в лечении широкого спектра  заболеваний,  появились  новые  приложения  для  лечения  апноэ во сне, панических атак, болезни Паркинсона, эпилепсии, контроля мочевого пузыря, расстройств желудочно-кишечного тракта, многочисленных аутоиммунных заболеваний  и  психических  расстройств и т.д. Клинический спрос на имплантируемые устройства представляет собой толчок к развитию инновационных технологий и преодолению технологических барьеров.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Background</title><p>Background. The article provides the data on the global market volume for implantable medical devices and analyzes the domestic market needs of various branches of medicine. Examples of international and Russian developments of implantable medical devices are given. Promising directions for growing the Russian market are specified.</p></sec><sec><title>Material and methods</title><p>Material and methods. The authors analyzed the information sources considering the state of the implantable medical device market over the last 10 years.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. Implantable medical devices have been used in practical healthcare for several decades.
