Dear colleagues, friends and readers of City Healthcare Journal,

Abstract

On behalf of the Editorial Board and staff of the magazine, we wish you a happy, prosperous and safe New Year!

In the past year, when many were forced to switch to a remote work format, publications in scientific journals, including City Healthcare Journal, have become an even more important means of communication, allowing one to follow trends and changes in public health around the world, to receive information about new research, technologies, practices, approaches to health promotion among the population of all ages and social groups.

We are constantly working to improve the content of each issue, and strive to make the Journal more accessible to a wide range of authors, without lowering the standards of quality of scientific publications that were originally adopted.

From January 2021, City Healthcare Journal declares "Your Paper, Your Way" policy to make the submission process simpler.

Now in order to pass the initial stages of submission and review process, your article should meet only the basic requirements needed to evaluate the quality of the science. This implies that:

• authors may submit their manuscript (text, figures and tables) as a single file. This can be a Word or PDF file, and figures and tables can be placed within the text;
• figures should be of high quality;
• all manuscripts must contain the essential elements needed to evaluate a manuscript (Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials & Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, Artwork and Tables with Captions);
• references can follow any widely accepted style or format, as long as the style is consistent. Author(s) name(s), journal title/book title, article title (where required), year of publication, volume & issue/book chapter and the pagination must be present. Use of DOI is highly encouraged.

After successfully passing the review procedure authors should within a week complete the article in accordance with the Rules for authors of City Healthcare Journal, listed in the corresponding section of the site https://city-healthcare.com/index.php/magazine/pravila-dlya-avtorov  

We are confident that the new policy of simplified submission for publication will be met with approval from the potential authors, since it significantly reduces the time for formatting and presenting the material for initial review.
